Assignment 9 - Trip Church

War isn't good, but I think it is necessary.  I imagine that if aliens ever found earth, they would probably find war one of the worst parts of humanity.  I think war is terrible, all the death and tragedy associated with war is terrible.  But i think war is kind of unavoidable.  There will always be "bad people," which is nothing new.  The "bad people" usually aren't that big of a deal, sometimes they kill people, but usually its not too many.  The real issue is when these "bad people" acquire power.  Think of people like Hitler.  Hitler led to the deaths of millions of people.  But if Hitler had never become the leader of the Nazis, then of Germany, he wouldn't have been able to do so much bad.  The point is that war is inevitable, as long as there are bad people.  If human kind ever finds a way to weed out all the bad people, then maybe peace might finally become feasible.  I think countries should go to war if it is for a greater cause. Like if North Korea were to attack South Korea, then the US would be justified in fighting back at North Korea, since US and South Korea are alliances.  Also logically it would be worse for the US to let South Korea be captured by North Korea.  Compromises are one of the best ways to delay and avoid war.
