Assignment 13- Gloria Dietz

We have a major problem in our society- uninformed voters.  Many people in America simply won't take the time to inform themselves on politics and the candidates. They make their decisions on a whim and believe fallacies spread by various groups, because they don't bother to fact check.

This has caused many public officials to be elected that aren't good for our country. But after years of hard work I have come up with a solution.  This solution would cause America to make informed decisions and elect people who would actually work to make our country better.

We simply must take those who don't poses the will to inform themselves out the gene pool and create a better, more driven American, who will inform themselves on political issues.

At the age of 18, we would make everyone take a test to make sure they have paid attention to the issues and the candidates' different positions, if they pass they may vote and reproduce.  If they do not pass, they will lose voting rights and they will not be allowed to reproduce.  Any existing descendants of these people, would not be allowed to vote.  This will help make future generations more likely to be informed and hopefully make America more politically stable.
