Assignment 13: Nathan Boshard

Trump Fires Ajit Pai Amid Net Neutrality Scandal
Ajit Pai, chairman of the FCC, was fired this morning after allegations of price gouging internet service. President Trump tweeted out this shortly after firing Ajit Pai: "It is unbelievable that the FCC is charging me money to read Fox News when CNN is free. #FakeNews" Trump followed this up with this statement on Twitter: "Never have we had a more egregious act of treason against the President in American history." In a press conference with the President late this afternoon he said that, although he wants to undo Obama's legacy, this is simply "just too far". Although Trump can hardly read an article as it is, he said "Fox News is the most simplistic news station there is, perfect for a man like me." He concluded his statements with this tweet: "I fire officials more bigly than any other president in the history of presidents #MAGA"
