When I am looking for my perfect college roommate, I really need someone that is okay with my crazy schedule. I never stop going so I need someone that is okay with my spastic personality that mainly runs on caffeine. I hope that they will be somewhat carefree where they would be okay with having impromptu dance parties but also that they have enough social awareness that they know when something isn’t working. Cleanliness doesn’t bother me too much, as long as my roommate doesn’t throw her dirty clothes on my stuff I will be fine. I absolutely cannot however, stand someone who doesn’t have social awareness or no care for what they do. I want someone with standards on who they will date, how they will act around others and in general, how they carry themselves.
I wouldn’t consider myself a morning person but I am pretty used to getting up at 5:30 every morning and drinking a couple cups of coffee to get my brain going in the morning so I would not like to be roommates with someone who stays out all night partying because I like to go to sleep as early as possible, I don’t want to have to stay up, waiting for my drunk roommate to come home so she can cause a ruckus and interrupt my sleeping habits.
