Assignment 14- Gloria Dietz

My Thanksgiving consists of my parents, me, and my great aunt.  It involves a lot of awkward silence, extra food, and in the case of any conversation, my great aunt asking what was said and us repeating it about 5 times.  Of course, there's always at least one question about college, majors, and my future in general.  We eat and then my aunt leaves and the rest of the break is filled with work or the absence of anything even mildly interesting.  I honestly don't really like the holiday, yes we do get a break, but it comes at an awkward time and makes us forget everything we learned just before finals and we come back feeling kind of out of it. It isn't a great combination, and I'd prefer if we didn't get the break and then just had a longer winter break.
