I would “sell” myself to a stranger by simply
telling them about myself and what is important to me. Especially if it were a
potential roommate, they would need to know a few critical things to my being
that would be a part of everyday life with me. To start, it would be important
to note that I am diabetic, meaning that anyone who gets squeamish around
needles or injections of any kind would have to be mindful of the fact that
this is a part of day to day life for me. This also means that I have a few
dietary needs that differ from the normal person, so a few things would have to
be kept in mind when cooking (basically no excessive sugar). Also, it would be
important to note my love of music and how often I play my trumpet. It can get
loud sometimes, so a tolerance for my practicing would be essential.
Additionally, they would have to understand that I am very passionate about the
things I do, so when practicing or studying, I would prefer not to be bothered.
Also regarding my personality, I am very up front and I tell things how they
are pretty bluntly and am often considered a relatively serious person, but
contrary to popular belief, I do like being relaxed and having fun spending
time with family and friends, and when I get the chance taking some time to by
myself to play video games.
