Assignment 9 - Max Marksbury

War seems inevitable when there is conflict between powers. No matter how good your diplomacy skills are, there will be people that you just won't be able to reason with at all. Ideally, there would be no war - but that just does not seem to be likely. War is especially scary now with the threat of more countries getting access to nuclear weapons and mutually assured  destruction; it could be the end of us.
It's hard to answer a question such as if war is morally right or not. There are a lot of variables at play, namely that a huge number of the lives put at risk by war are completely innocent and haven't done anything wrong. And when nuclear weapons are introduced, that number of innocent lives just increases to be even higher. But, if you don't go to war, maybe your country could be thrown into an authoritarian government or something even worse than war. It's never morally right, but maybe the best thing to do at times.
