Assignment 13- Richie Lane

Almost everything in today's society is determined on social status, and social status is largely determined by wealth. This is an issue that many people have attempted to solve with elaborate, complicated solutions that would require a lot of work. But I think these people are overthinking this: if the problem with our nation is money, why not eliminate currency? Instead of placing an arbitrary value on everything we own, everything you want and need you should just make yourself. This would also solve the problem of people buying things they don't really need. If you're willing to make something yourself, you must really want it. The same goes for food. Any food you want, you should grow/manufacture yourself. This way, people's status could be determined based on how hard they are willing to work.
