Assignment 14 - Max Marksbury

I like Thanksgiving quite a bit, probably more than most others. The joke going around is that Thanksgiving is the holiday where you drive into the boonies to meet up with your crazy redneck side of the family and awkwardly talk politics over a Thanksgiving meal. For me, this isn't really the case. For starters, my relatives aren't really that unusual or crazy. They're pretty tame compared to some others' relatives. They're also not that far away or spread out. About half of them live in Lexington, and then the other half live about an hour north of town. Additionally, we don't always meet with them. This year for Thanksgiving it was just our immediate family eating, which keeps any Thanksgiving oddities to a minimum. We had turkey, stuffing, oyster casserole, sausage, mashed potatoes, and some assorted greens. Which is pretty standard for Thanksgiving meals as far as I'm aware.
