Assignment 9 - Brenden Knuckles
War, as we all know, is subjective.
Take for instance the controversy surrounding George W. Bush's presidency. People believed in the war in Afghanistan, but once it was deemed inappropriate and useless to America, it was automatically changed into a "war on patriotism" in trying to fix Afghanistan's newly apparent problems. What I would consider wrong and unneeded could be totally justified and be completely correct in their statement. It all mainly just depends on how people feel. I feel as though war isn't as necessary as one would think, but I still feel that if one must fight another to settle differences, then it needs to happen. Overall, however, war can easily be interpreted in many ways. One country could see them joining in a fight as their duty, while others decide not to do the same. But war as a concept will never be agreed upon as a whole.
