My geek meter reaches full when I can sit down for a weekend and watch a ton of football. Whether it's NCAA or NFL football. If I had it my way I would sit down and have T.V's all around me with a different football game on all of them. I can tell you a lot about any NFL team and for NCAA I know a lot about the SEC and keep up with a lot of games around the nation.
It's an American tradition for the weekend in the fall and into the new year, that I can't ever get enough of. There is nothing better than the big hits, great passes followed by great catches, the marvelous juke moves and the late game thrillers. I even love to play fantasy football where you draft teams and they score you points based on their receptions, receiving, rushing and passing yards and touchdowns. I am in 4 fantasy football leagues and spend a while on it each week to play my best team based on match ups and injuries.
It is my dream to one day be an announcer or even a coach. I have studied football and can read a lot of defensive and offensive formations and know situational football and know a lot about the players. Its even why i take broadcast journalism so I can get a taste of broadcasting and announcing.
