Assignment 9 - Sean Young

There is never a time for war. War tears families apart. War leaves holes in both houses and hearts. War leaves us all broken. War comes about when two powers need to set straight matters that cannot be settled by negotiations. When issues become so drawn out and talked about throughout the world, war happens. At the same time, war can almost never be avoided. People will try to talk things out, but if these same people believe in one certain thing so much they are willing to lay down their life and die for it, then they will. As they go to war, whatever they think is "right" and "just" really does not matter in the end. Lives will be lost, and all for one side to lose and have whatever the other side thinks impose their thoughts on them, forcing them to accept their idea of what is "right". There are no real alternatives to war, either. You might be able to talk it out, but it only pushes the inevitable away. War never really does change.
