In AP Lang, I sit next to Theodore. Theo is
extremely intelligent and studious as well. One thing I have come to know about
him is that he loves absorbing knowledge. Because of his quiet nature and love
of learning, I would equate him to an owl if I had to categorize him as an
animal. Whenever we have any down time in class, he is always picking up the “50
Essay’s” book that sits on our desk and reading something, often laughing to himself
at what he just read. Another thing that I have learned about him is that he
and I both share an affinity for mathematics (thought I am so busy with band
and other extracurricular activities that I have never gotten around to coming
to math club, but one of these days I will!). In five years, I see Theodore
studying in college towards some kind of degree in mathematics or engineering,
perhaps in upper level education. He may be soft-spoken and not say much in
class, but Theodore is a very thoughtful person who has a genuine love of learning
and a profound mind.
