Assignment 20- Anne Douglas

I am a woman of many skills: I can successfully do a cartwheel, decorate a Christmas tree, quote almost any episode of Parks and Recreation, turn my lounge into a clover, and MUCH more. I know, I know, I'll stop bragging and get to the point. My most special skill is making perfect sweet potato fries. They are easy, healthy, and delicious. Here is my very own, tried and true method of baking the perfect sweet potato fries right from your own home:

Sweet Potato Fries
(serves 1)
1: Pre-heat the oven to 420 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Wash and dry a large sweet potato.
3. Cut the potato in half. You can either remove the skin or leave it on depending upon your textural preferences.
4. Dice each half of the potato into Fries- it doesn't have to be perfect, but try to keep the slices roughly the same size.
5. Spray a large pan with non-stick cooking oil.
6. Place the fries onto the baking sheet leaving room in between each one.
7. Apply salt and pepper and any other spices of your choice; I often use salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne, nutritional yeast, and garlic powder.
8. Cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes.
9. After 20 minutes flip the potatoes and place them back in the oven for another 10-15 until golden brown on both sides.
10. Remove from oven and Enjoy!

Now that I'm starving, I'm gonna head to the kitchen and get started on my fries. Bye!
