Assignment 25: Nathan Boshard

Normally I don't have to tell people this, because the conversation comes up sooner or later, but I love talking about politics and religion. I feel that these two issues are so important that I have to discuss them with people. I need to know why people believe what they believe and what support they have for their beliefs. I feel that most of free speech's potential goes wasted if I don't actively seek out a forum of discussion. Religion and politics are the two most important beliefs someone can have, and they often guide them through the biggest decisions in their life. This is why I feel the need to spark conversations about topics I feel strongly about. To conclude, although it may seem off-putting when meeting new people, I like to have difficult discussions, because everybody walks away having learned something or considered a new perspective.
