Assignment 23: Nathan Boshard

This is the perfect playlist for a party or when you're hyped about something and want to amplify that feeling.
1.George Jeff - Jaden Smith
This song has a strong beat with a lot of bass that can get anyone hyped for almost anything. The best part of this song is that Jaden isn't saying anything meaningful or interesting, so you can just experience the feeling the song elicits without having to think about the lyrics. This also means that at a party you can carry on a conversation while the song plays in the background.
2.Big Bank - Big K.R.I.T. and T.I.
This song is also a rather meaningless song with a message obvious from the title. This song has a strong beat that builds on the vibe of the previous song and amplifies that feeling. It's also great party music because it's easy to carry on a conversation with it on.
3. Paramedic - SOB and RBE
This song has another strong beat and because it's off of the Black Panther Album, pretty much everyone at a party will know the song. The rappers on this song are saying what would be considered, by some people, off-color which is what makes it great party music. If we're being honest high school parties never involve anything remotely on-color.
4. God's Plan - Drake
This song has a strong beat with plenty of bass and is something that everyone knows. This makes it a good party song because everyone knows it, likes it, and can probably relate in some way to what Drake is saying. He talks about some of what he's been through in his life and how he's come up in the industry. This story of rising up and "real talk" is something that everyone can feel good listening to.
5. HUMBLE - Kendrick Lamar
This song has strong lyrical content from Kendrick, talking about life from growing up in Compton until now, a strong beat, is well known, and has a phenomenal flow. Even if you don't like the lyrics, (which have a lot of imagery and subtle references to his life) you can still feel engaged and hyped listening to the song.
