Assignment 24: Caili Harris

Overall, during this year I feel like I’ve been able to find out more about myself as a person. I’ve always tried very diligently to please other people and this year I feel that I’ve been able to step away from that mind set, by trying new music, new clothing, and work to be a better person overall. I have worked not to focus on my failures, because truthfully the more time I focus on them the less time I’ll have to fix them. Therefore I’ve implemented the cringe and cut it out mantra-meaning I’ll think about it once, but after that I need to move on. Junior year overall has been fantastic socially. I’ve met many great people over the duration of this year. In addition I worked to build friendships with the seniors (one of the only reasons I wish this year wouldn’t end).  Nothing could ever prepare me for their departure. But I know that next year will be fantastic and I’m ready to move forward.
