Assignment 1 - Max

Hello, my name is Max Marksbury. Over the summer break I went to New York City for a week and had a great time. We stayed right by the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, so there was something local and delicious to eat every night. I think the most memorable part was when we discovered the greatest pizza place of all time. We also walked around different areas of the city (mostly Manhattan) and soaked in the city atmosphere. It's really made me consider looking at colleges in or around the New York City area.
Academically, I could do better. Which is probably very cliche. I've been coasting through middle and high school, not really putting in any extra effort anywhere. I'd like to change that this year, especially since it is probably the year where grades matter the most.
The thing I enjoy most is music, whether it be listening or playing. I'm always trying to find new stuff to listen to and am trying to expose myself to different types of music. I also like watching TV/movies yet really haven't seen that much of note, so I'd like to expand my horizons there as well. I watched Inglorious Basterds for the first time this summer and really enjoyed that, and am looking forward to the new season of Bojack Horseman dropping in a few days.
