Assignment 1 - Luke

My name is Luke Webster. I'm not really sure how to describe myself, I mean you'd think that after 16 years with myself I'd know what to say when a teacher asks that but no. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and overall  having a good time.

I'm a swimmer and though I enjoy the sport, it can be frustrating to not be as good as some of the other guys on my team. Whatever the case, I'm pretty good in my own right and anyone who disagrees can suit up and grab some goggles. Another thing I enjoy doing on the side is playing guitar. I started playing the second semester of my freshman year, and I have enjoyed every minute of it since. It sounds kind of cliché and cheesy but the music kind of gives me an escape from real life. Everything kind of fades into the background when I play.

I hope to be able to keep up with the fabled junior workload which I can already begin to see is going to be a struggle. Regardless, I hope to be a good student and be able to take part in the school in more activities.

I don't really have a website that I think is my favorite, but one that I'm often at is www.songsterr.com which is helpful for learning guitar songs. Its a database of sheet music and tab for players like myself.

This is my favorite picture, of me and all my cousins, who are a freaking amazing bunch and I wouldn't trade the world for them.
