I watch T.V when I am bored as a form of entertainment and to stay informed. Millions of others turn on their televisions for the same reason. I enjoy watching sports games I am unable to attend and tv dramas and other fictions that keep me intrigued when i get bored or have nothing else to do.
I love watching college and NFL football every weekend. I usually am fortunate enough to be able to attend UK home football games but if I'm not at the game, it can be seen on the T.V screen in my family room. Often I find myself rushing to the couch on Sundays, when I get home from church so I can watch the end of the Sunday NFL Countdown then switch between multiple games depending on when commercials are airing or if one game features a team I like.
As for dramas and fiction, I enjoy Rick and Morty, Game of Thrones, and The Good place. I could binge watch these for hours if i had the time. Rick and Morty is hilarious and random, I never know what to expect when tuning in for a new episode but it never fails to make me laugh a few times. Game of Thrones is an intense drama with multiple storylines that keeps me interested, they all overlap and impact the other story lines and who doesn't like a good beheading and sword fight every now and then, I know I do! The Good Place is a great comedy that just started airing season 2, where the characters are supposedly in "heaven." I also tune into the news just to stay up to date on local and national news.
I don't enjoy watching NBA basketball and MLB baseball during the regular season and the generic crime shows. NBA and MLB have to many regular season games that i don't enjoy watching them because one is not important and players usually don't put in full effort because they know that have so many more games to play. I don't enjoy generic crime shows because the same plot lines are used over and over again and a viewer can usually figure out the killer before the show reveals it.
