Assignment 7- Ally Tripure

           College is important to me, as it should be. I want to pursue my passions and successfully reach my goals. The place I choose will be the place I call home for 4 years (or more if I do my graduate program there as well). Because of this, I want to feel at home; I want to feel like I belong.

            My college search has been anything but extensive at this point in my junior year. I guess you could say I am further along than a lot of people, though, if a lot of students have not decided on a major. I want to major in kinesiology/exercise science. This will help me pursue a growing passion of mine set way back in 7^th grade. I have always loved researching muscles and the injuries they can get and how to treat them and why they happen and so on. This came out of my love for running and always having annoying pains and injuries because of it; I always want to know exactly what is going on and how to best treat it (this will sometimes get out of control though, and I become a sort of hypochondriac about my pains). I want to deepen my understanding of the problems and help others get better as well. With this major I will be going into physical therapy.

            I strive now to get the best grades I can and to show who I am in what I do. I am hardworking and have a pride in the work I do. This will spill over into my college experience; I will be training for the real world and my future profession that I am going to be successful in, no matter what it takes. I need to make the best out of my college experience so that I can achieve this goal.
