Assignment 6: Nathan Boshard

The things that interest me the most are politics and religion. These two things still occupy most of my free time and thoughts. These are the things that I enjoy having conversations about most. However, I don’t proselytize, I listen and understand. I will defend my position, but I stay open-minded in an effort to have a well-supported opinion. I hope to learn more about both of these topics. I enjoy watching debates to learn about these topics more than any other way. I think having debates and discussions about these topics are the best experiences to learn. For those too opinionated, this won’t work. The principle of group polarization states that when two parties go against one another, they tend to leave more opinionated. You need to have a certain affinity for debate and discussion to overcome the urge to leave more certain of your position.
