assignment 5- taetum

      for this posting i am going to go with the first prompt since it will hopefully be much more lighthearted than my previously weighty and possibly controversial posts.
     "why do you watch TV? why do you not? what shows do you love or hate?"

      So, i kinda grew up on the VCR (Disney movies nonstop) and late night/ early morning TV with my mom (fresh prince, full house, family matters) she worked night shift at the hospital, so to make sure i was awake when she got home i would sneak out of my room and sleep in a chair or on the couch in the living room so that i'd stir when she came through the door. then we'd curl up and watch whatever was on that she wanted. i didn't really get into any of the 'kids shows' until my teenage years because of this.
      my mom and i also share this love of crime shows. i always wanted to watch NCIS, CSI, and Criminal minds with her and dad. they tried to censor me from some of the more grotesque scenes by fast forwarding it or not allowing me to watch certain episode (i would just go sit in my room and or the kitchen and watch it through reflections anyways) i always dreamed of being a spy or an agent, so Kim possible (one of those shows i watched with my mom) and Criminal Minds became my favorites. in kindergarten i almost wanted to be a cheerleader so that i could kick butt like KP (the i discovered softball and realized skirts were NOT my thing).
