Assignment 5 - Lauren Chatfield

I do watch tv but I do not watch it often. I enjoy having something at the end of the day to unwind to or to make me laugh before I go to bed (if I have time). I don't watch TV a ton simply because there is almost always something better or more productive to be doing with my time. During the summer, I like to read books or needlepoint in my free time instead of watching TV but during the school year it is hard to find the time to start and finish a project. TV is an easy thing to quickly access and kill a few hours. I typically don't use cable unless I'm watching a sporting event or award show that I'd like to see live. I normally use a streaming service. like netflix or hulu. My favorite shows are parks and rec, carrie diaries, new girl, and awkward. These shows are nice to go back and watch a few episodes of to make me laugh. TV is usually a source of comedic relief for whatever I've done in a day which is a nice way to end things.
