Assignment 4 - Trip Church

When have I questioned my beliefs?  Maybe a few times, but one example that comes to mind is religion. I grew up with a Baptist father and Methodist mother;  I went to Sunday school and church many Sundays for my early childhood.  As i reached the end of elementary school, and onwards, visits to church became less frequent and only for holidays and other occasions.
As I've gotten older, I've really began to question what religion is, and what it does.  The great thing about religion is the ethics it ingrains in people, nearly every religion will have some way of stating, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."  The golden rule is really a part of many religions, perhaps just written a bit differently.  As i learn and study more in school and though science classes, I have to wonder, why do people believe in a god, there;s been no true proof or evidence.  But, on the other hand, there hasn't been any true proof to be prove that a god doesn't exist. I don't blame anyone for being religious, sometimes I think maybe they're smarter than me.  I wouldn't really consider myself Christian, but I also wouldn't say I'm 100% atheist, i think I'm somewhere In between.  I guess that's considered Agnostic.  Sorry if this came off as rambly.
