Assignment 14- Stone Poole

This is my favorite time of year, football is at its peak, my birthday is in October then there is Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all within 90 days. I love spending time with my family arguing over sports, which food is the best and fun pointless stuff. I usually have 3 Thanksgivings each year, one with my dad's side, one with my mom's side and one with my immediate family. The food is always great and the time and memories are even better. My dad's side is huge, there are 20 of us and after we eat we watch football or go out in the back and play some ourselves. My mom's side is a bit smaller but my Grandma's cooking is sooooooo good. We go to each gathering before Thanksgiving so on Thanksgiving we usually go to my Uncle's church and help pack and deliver meals to those who can't make their own this Thanksgiving, it is a fun and humbling experience and I always leave with a smile. Usually my immediate family is tired from all the stuff we have done and full of food so we have leftover Thanksgiving from the night before and only have small plates because we have eaten so much at the other events. I love Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for this year.
