Assignment 22- Ben Hayden

One quality of my life that I feel for sure helps to connect me well to college life is an internal drive to learn more about myself. In seventh grade I had the honor of participating in Duke TIP in Texas. During the program I got to spend three weeks by myself in a real college dorm, and surprisingly-especially for a 7th grader- I loved using my time alone looking into my life, and all the blessing I have been delivered and had to work for in my life, and what I could change about myself to live a better life. Once I get on a college campus, I fell like I will have more time to be independent and to improve myself, hopefully making me into the best person I can possibly be, because I feel I learned alot about myself during those three weeks away from my family that I could not have learned without independence.
